Looking for a place to celebrate a big birthday with the whole crowd? It’s something we do well at The Crown. From a “no host” gathering for twenty people to a hosted cocktail party for a larger group of guests we have the experience to help you plan a fun event.

Our back patio is very popular for wedding rehearsal dinners through the summer months. We will to work with you to create a happy and relaxing evening before the big day. We create a custom menu for you from items on our regular menu. If you prefer, we will enhance our usual casual garden setting with white tablecloths and flowers for a nominal additional fee. There is no charge to reserve the space.
We also provide a charming, informal, cost effective solution for an intimate wedding reception along the same lines.

Whether it is a birthday party, rehearsal dinner or any other group event, we will help you plan a one to four course meal based on your preferences and budget using selections from our regular menu. We print individual menu cards without prices and your guests choose what they would like to eat. You may choose to preorder appetizers or small salads for the group but it is not necessary to preorder meals. Charges will reflect exactly what is ordered and consumed, plus tax and 18% gratuity.

In some circumstances it may be more convenient if the total cost per person is predetermined and fixed. Everything will be the same as described above except the charges. Charges will reflect the predetermined price per person regardless of whether everyone wanted a soda or salad etc. Prices start at $16 per person.

We have a full bar and can offer everything from specialty ales to cocktails, champagne or premium wines. Charges will be based on consumption but we can help you control costs by limiting selections, serving wine by the bottle and beer by the pitcher. Here are some options regarding alcohol.
OPTION ONE (most popular): Serve white and red wine of your choice by the bottle plus pitchers of beer. Our staff will open and serve only what is needed. You may limit service by time or cost if you wish.
OPTION TWO: We offer your guests the choice of a glass of beer, wine or a cocktail. You may limit service to one or two drinks. This option can be incorporated into a fixed price per person menu.
OPTION THREE: Host an open bar, limited by time or cost if you wish.
OPTION FOUR: Guests order and pay for their own alcoholic beverages.

Seating depends a lot on the size of your party and the time of year. Our most private space is the garden patio to the rear of the building which accommodates up to 44 guests. The patio is covered to provide shade and has heaters. Inside the restaurant we are able to seat up to 18 guests at a single, long table. Larger parties will be seated at smaller tables adjacent to each other. We can seat up to 100 guests inside the restaurant depending on availability.
